Rooftop Revival
Heineken
Seoul, one of the most populated cities in the world, is somehow also one of the loneliest. In a city of tiny apartments and packed streets, finding space to actually connect has become a rarity.
So, how does Heineken refresh a city's social life?
By proving that there's always room (or roof 😉) to socialise.

WE BROUGHT BACK KOREA'S OG "SOCIAL PLATFORM", BUT WITH A TWIST
We redesigned the Pyeong Sang, a traditional platform for outdoor gathering and socialising, with a built-in eski for beers, Bluetooth speakers for beats and a Heineken star parasol for vibes.

USED IT TO REVIVE ROOFTOPS ALL ACROSS SEOUL - UNDERUTILISED, OVERLOOKED AND YES, GREEN... HEINEKEN GREEN.
Korea’s rooftops are green not by design but by practicality. Turns out the most common waterproof paint contains chromium oxide that’s naturally green.

AND TURNED IT INTO AN UNMISSABLE REMINDER

THAT THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM OR ROOF
TO SOCIALISE.
